Let Me Tell You is a storytelling initiative of the Michigan Collaborative to End Mass Incarceration, guided by the American Friends Service Committee and the University of Michigan’s Prison Creative Arts Project and Carceral State Project.
We work across Michigan’s 31 prison facilities to document the experience of life and long-term prison sentences. Here you’ll find the first-person stories of people on the inside—and the people they love.
All of the stories we receive will be archived at the University of Michigan.
